Greater Gwinnett Republican Womens Club honored all women serving in elected offices in Gwinnett County, Gwinnett women at the state capitol and statewide offices -- Secretary of State, State Superintendent of Schools and State GOP Chairman. Incidentally, all of these positions are filled by REPUBLICAN WOMEN! See list below. Many thanks to all of these hard working women!

1 - 2. The Secretary of State of the great state of Georgia and our ranking woman official KAREN HANDEL 3 - 4. Let’s not forget our millionaire winner of “smarter than a fifth grader”, Kathy with a “K” Cox, Superintendent of Schools!
5 - 6. Our dear friend and the most fun loving Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, the venerable Sue Everhart the first woman elected to this position 7 - 8 And one of the most gifted legislators whose care for the elderly is born out in policy. She is a longtime member of this club….. State Senator Renee Unterman
9 - 10. The woman who runs the tightest ship in the tax business, probably nationwide, Constitutional Officer Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner, Katherine Sherrington and longtime GGRW member 11 - 12. The first Woman Solicitor General of Gwinnett County….Rosanna Szabo, another member of GGRW
13 - 14. A respected Gwinnett County Commissioner and who waged a formidable campaign for Chairman, Lorraine Green, GGRW member. 15 - 16. And soon to be sworn in…Shirley Lassiter, the new District One Counnty Commissioner.

17 - 18. And three of the most influential women in the lives of our children, the Three Musketeers of the Gwinnett County School board….. Carol Boyce, currently school board chair and mother of six, all graduates of Gwinnett County public schools. 19 - 20. Dr. Mary kay Murphy…also longtime GGRW member. Below: 21 - 22. Louise Radloff, the longest-serving Gwinnett school board member. Serving since January 1973 (longer than Jennifer and Tegwen have been alive!) and a board chair eight times.

23. The highly regarded State House Representative of District 105 and Deputy Whip, Donna
Sheldon, and GGRW supporter. Donna had to cancel at the last minute due to the serious
illness of a close family member.
Tegwen Beaudreau , GGRW President, welcomed everyone to the October meeting of the Greater Gwinnett Republican Women. She said: "This is a very special night….a night in which we celebrate the elected women officials of our state and county. YOU are the women who carved the path that made it possible for Sara Palin to become the first woman Republican Vice Presidential candidate.
YOU are the women who have fought the good ole boy network, licked stamps and stuffed envelopes, and YOU are the women who made it on sheer talent and drive. Now YOU are making a difference and making policy. We at the GGRW and our

GGRW distributed Women for McCain-Palin yard signs to members and visitors to be placed in strategic points around the county.
